These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the GunFolio app and website (gunfolio.co), operated by GunFolio ("we", "us"). By using GunFolio you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
GunFolio is a private record-keeping app that lets you catalog your firearms, ammunition, magazines, accessories, and parts, and log range sessions and maintenance. GunFolio is not a marketplace and does not facilitate the sale, purchase, transfer, or trade of firearms or ammunition. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any firearm or ammunition manufacturer or retailer.
GunFolio is a personal record-keeping tool only and does not provide legal advice. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your ownership, possession, storage, transport, and use of any firearm or ammunition, and your keeping of records about them, comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. You agree not to use GunFolio for any unlawful purpose. Nothing in the app should be interpreted as authorization, encouragement, or instruction to acquire, build, modify, or use any firearm or ammunition.
You may use GunFolio without an account (local-only), or create one to back up and sync your records. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account.
You retain ownership of the records, photos, and other content you add. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you (for example, to back it up and sync it across your devices). You are responsible for your content and for keeping your own backups where appropriate — including by using the app's export feature.
GunFolio offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription, GunFolio Plus (for example, $4.99/month or $39.99/year; current pricing is shown in the app). Subscriptions purchased on iOS are billed through your Apple ID and, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, renew automatically. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices and features may change; we will give notice of material changes.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that your data will always be available. GunFolio is a record-keeping aid and is not a substitute for legal compliance, insurance appraisal, or professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GunFolio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
